More fool me.

I wanted to watch boxing one Saturday night. DANZ appeared to be the best option. Signed up. And cancelled the next day. Then I see payment is still being taken. Thought I had not cancelled correctly. But I had. Only to find I have cancelled an Annual account and will have to pay for about another ten months 😡

I have contacted DANZ asking if this could be reconsider. Best reply I go is that would cancel for a one off fee of £60! Four months fee.

I pay monthly on my credit card. Can I cancel the card payment or would there be consequences?

Do I have any other options?

If you cancel the card payment, there will be consequences, but I do not know what

Could be they just continue taking as if nothing changed & you will just go round in circles

Could be they register a failed payment with the credit agencies, so next time you try for credit, like a phone, or holiday, or mortgage you get refused

Could be they instigate County Court proceedings against you [unlikely IMO]
