High Court Bailiffs Debt Enforcement

Hi all, long time lurker. I received in the post today an enforcement notice from this company, www.hcbde.org, who have been apparently instructed by the High Court to recover a balance in respects to a PCN from Parking Charge Limited. They are after £856.16 to be paid within 7 days or else £1880.66!!

This is the first letter I have received on this matter and I have not received any prior instruction. I don’t even know what the PCN is for that matter from the client company and have no outstanding tickets that I know of.

I can find no information about this company apart from their website, and google doesn’t show anything about them, so I don’t even know if it’s real or fake?

Would appreciate some helpful advise on what to do. Thank you in advance

Possibly all correspondence has been sent to the address on a V5 document that you have failed to update if you moved house - could that be the case?

Does it give info of the relevant court case and when it was heard etc?

The V5 details are up to date, the letter has my name address and current car registration.

There is no information on the court case, they just state ‘further our previous letter’ (which I never got).

happy to hear it may be a scam, my stomach as been doing somersaults at the thought of paying up. Thanks

    Hi mate
I received the same letter today
From HIGH COURT bailiffs of £812.60
Even i am very sure that nothing is pending against me and i never keep pending the tickets or anything..

I found that the website is created  on 10. Jan 2025   and registered somewhere in china

I tried to call on given number then one lady picked up my call but she couldn't satisfy me with her answer and then she told to send me an email on contact@hcbd.org

    I think its scam

Marvellous! If consumers can't spot this is a scam then they need to give their head a wobble!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The real  High Court Enforcement Officers have a website with information, including a webform to report instances - here https://www.hceoa.org.uk/paying-a-debt/i-am-concerned-about-fraud
Whilst they can't  do anything directly, I suspect they can stir things in the background - and if someone should every get a judgement against one of these companies, I'm sure they would be only to happy to sort things out

I also got a letter through post on 20 March 2025 and it is looks like scam cause i have not revived any parking fine notice before this.
I was also told to pay £812.60 exactly same amount as above mention.
