Internet access with PAYG

I am with T-Mobile on PAYG. From time to time I need internet access whilst on the go. I am looking at using T-Mobile's WebNGo at £1 a day which is exactly what I want price-wise because my internet use will only be intermittent. I now need a mobile phone as my current Nokia is very old with no internet functionality. Can someone pls recommend one preferably with a large "face" for easy viewing? Can I buy an unlocked blackberry for instance and use that by inserting my current SIM card? Any other useful comments appreciated.

I have a Nokia E61, which is superb as both a phone and a web browser / email device. It's the first of Nokia's Blackberry killers.
