Confused with House type

Hey guys,
Hope you’re all well. A bit confused with a property we are looking to purchase… so the blue circle is the property we are looking to buy and then it’s attached to another two properties where the blue arrow is pointing (to the garage and one habitable room upstairs). No building attached on the other sides.
Is this property:
Linked detached, end of terrace or semi-detached? Land register showing as detached but I don’t think this is the case…
Sorry if photos etc not allowed then **mods** please remove this post.

Probably end of terrace....??..but your description and pictures aren't very clear....."It's everybody's fault but mine...."2

Don't you mean it's attached to one other property? I can't quite figure out the layout but it seems end of terrace.Homey113 said:the blue circle is the property we are looking to buy and then it’s attached to another two properties where the blue arrow is pointing (to the garage and one habitable room upstairs). Is it 3 storey ? or us the top floor a different property ?
Is the rendered/cream property part of yours ?Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -
Yes the rendered cream area is part of the property. It joins to the other properties (two properties to the left of the image) via a garage below and the bedroom above. So in essence it’s kind of like 3 buildings altogether (like a terraced). But was listed as link detached and land registry shows it as Detached. We are very confused 😕0

It certainly isn’t detached, but maybe it was at one time, then that cream building was built in between?0

The pictures are as clear as mud as nothing in them looks like a garageHomey113 said:Yes the rendered cream area is part of the property. A linked detached would typically be where no rooms that you live in have a shared/common wall with a neighbour, but there is a connected structure between the two, most commonly a garage. Like the below photo:
A quick google suggests that were someone to subsequently build a bedroom above the garage, ie a first floor extension, that it can still be considered a linked detached but it feels to be stretching the definition to me.1 -
The opposite side of the road has the same sort of layout/buildings with the cream building too, so I don’t think it was added in nor an extension… 🤔koalakoala said:It certainly isn’t detached, but maybe it was at one time, then that cream building was built in between?1 -
I think we are all confused to be fair but whatever it is, it's not detached or link detached.Homey113 said:Yes the rendered cream area is part of the property. Where do LR show the type and how?I don't think that any definition is 'official', and estate agents like to bend definitions shamelessly, e.g. see this thread - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6450463/is-it-correct-to-class-this-house-as-detached/p6There are many threads here on this topic - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/search?domain=all_content&query=link detatched &scope=site&source=communityIn this thread the house is essentially end of terrace or end of town house. And it doesn't matter how somebody calls it.

This is what Land Registry shows it as. Also the building opposite which is build exactly the same shows as Detached…1
