"11.Should we delay access to the health element of Universal Credit within the reformed system until someone is aged 22?"
If everyone who this effects did the consultation they might get results that make them rethink some of the changes.
I'm not sure why they don't have a two tiered PIP. Higher for those who get 4 points in one activity and lower for those who get 12 points across them all. Then the Health element of UC is only paid to the higher rated claimants. I'm just thinking that I know many on pip who use the money to facilitate them working and they won't get qualify at all under the new changes so I'm not sure how they will continue to work without it.

All of these changes have to go through both houses of Parliament. The legislation that is produced may look quite different.
Government and Parliament don't suffer from a lack of lobbying from interested groups. The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.2 -

It's also the case that there's little to nothing that people need to do right now in terms of taking action themselves.
In general terms, it's fine to post on the Forum to seek clarification about how proposed changes might affect you, but it's when that gets mixed in with party-political commentary - or suggestions that the Government ought to do such-and-such - that things get more problematic and posts might have to be removed.

- Creating a single assessment for PIP and the UC health element
- Freezing the health element of UC until 2029/30
- Only awarding PIP daily living if you get at least one descriptor scoring 4 or more points
- Restarting WCA reassessments until the WCA is scrapped

Several measures can only be implemented via legislation so if enough MPs feel the impact will be negative, they have the power to potentially prevent that legislation passing. (I tried to word that carefully so I hope it's still within the forum rules.)1
