As the OP couldn't be bothered to provide much useful or relevant information I don't see how anybody can determine whether this is a legitimate charge or not.
I assume the OP has recently bought and moved into the house in question and the house had some sort of alarm equipment that is surplus to requirements and which he wanted removed. But I don't know if that is what he means or not as he really hasn't made himself clear.
What did the OP agree with the vendor before exchange of contracts?
Did the OP explain to the alarm company who he was and why he wanted their kit removed?
What did the alarm company tell him? Did they send him any paperwork or emails confirming the job and giving any T&Cs?2
