Hi everyone. It's been a Very Long Time since I've been here, so it's good to see a few familiar names. A lot's happened since. Left my job last Feb and relocated to Lancashire to a 1930s semi with good bones but in need of significant work. DH is working remotely to keep the ship afloat and I'm temping and supporting my fabulous Dad. He spent 4 years nursing Mum ( with professional support) before dementia, paralysis and an infection finally took her in August. Life is simpler but I like being back north. My wardrobe is even more full of charity shop bargains and I've finally got a GP who didn't quibble about my weight and got me on HRT. Still achy, but much better. I did an extra day today WFM, taking tea out of the freezer and set off some stock to cogitate in the slow cooker. Tonight will be about weeding out odd socks and adding them to the ragbag. Happy Birthday Snoozer and hugs to anyone in need of one.
