Morning All
Thanks for the start Gers.
Damp and gloomy this morning but I think I see blue sky on the horizon. Yesterday stayed cloudy but the washing did dry so that's a bonus.
Kindly neighbour put up my video doorbell yesterday so that's all up and running - I've had it about a month! After a trip to Costco I did a bit in the garden, should have cut the grass before it rained.
Back to work today, an event on Wednesday should keep me busy for a while today.
I keep putting in for early retirement but not sure if I really want it, I've another 4 years to go before I get my state pension.
Hope you're all well and have a good Monday. Take care. XX15 -
My sleep was so deep I've woke in the middle of a dream by needing the loo. Now I'll never know what happen next. 😀 At least the morning isn't freezing still cold though in plus figures.I didn't watch any sport yesterday 🥱 but am so delighted at Newcastle's great win. After living there for almost 40 years in sight and sound of the ground during the 'empty' years it was lovely to see the faithful Toon Army getting a cup. 🏆This morning it's my exercise class at the next village, I'm ready for it and almost looking forward to it after doing minimal movement yesterday apart from folding the dry washing and doing another small wash.Hugs to all our poorlies and those struggling with life. Hi everyone,
It's an early start for me, Steve brought me tea in bed together with a card. We seem to be past the age of presents now.
I have a dr's appointment this morning to discuss my BP, I've not been taking my medication for a week and my pressure is still normal so hopefully she won't replace it. Annoying if I've been taking it for years unnecessarily.
Hugs to anyone who needs one.
Have a good day.16 -
Morning allEnjoyed all the footie yesterday between having a bit of an upset tum. I think I've still got something in my system from my holiday. Hopefully it'll clear up soon!Off to shopping centre this morning for a browse and replace my t shirt that I ruined on the plane. That'll do for wearing round the house now.Looks like the temperature will improve later i the week. About time too!Hope everyone has a good day x15

Morning all and thanks for the start @Gers x
Happy Birthday @snoozer have a good day x
I’ve an online induction this morning which I can do from home, but then the week is a bit bitty as I have other online training then a day in the new office on Friday. I will go food shopping this afternoon and have my list at the ready. My hay fever seems to have flown in already, probably due to the change of location and more green spaces around. Have been dosing up for weeks and still have the symptoms ☹️
Have a good day everyone

Morning all
How do the weekends go so quickly ? I woke this morning convinced it was Sunday and wondered why OH was up so early it took me a good few minutes to realise it was Monday 😩
Rob coming today but our friends have a day’s holiday so we won’t be seeing them I think we will do the shopping this morning and then come back and take the dogs out and do some baking, the sun looks like it’s about to appear although it’s still cold.
Roast dinner tonight left overs from yesterday so just need to heat it through, I have put a wash on this morning which can be hung out.
Snoozer Happy Birthday hope you have a great day xxx
Have good days all and take care xx15 -
Good morning.
Happy birthday Snoozer, have a wonderful day.
Very dull out this morning, but not as cold. Yesterday was sunny but then we had rain last night which wasn't forecast.
Today I'll be making a couple of steak and kidney pies, one for tonight and one for the freezer. I cooked the meat yesterday. That's all that's happening today apart from the usual chores always washing to do. DH broke the blade in his saw thingy yesterday so I guess he will be sourcing a new one, don't know if he'll be going out to collect it.
That's enough excitement for one day. Have a good one all, take care.15 -
Morning folks and thanks GERS. Happy Birthday to SNOOZER, hope you have a good day despite having to see the doctor. It's a bit of a miserable start here with no sign of the sun appearing for most of the day. and remaining chilly.
No plans for the day ahead but, as usual, there are jobs waiting. I should make a start on the windows inside as they don't look any better despite the window cleaner doing the outsides last week! I bet he thought he was wasting his time! I might even resume the pruning of the wardrobes!
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, sad or lonely. Take care all, stay safe x
