Morning all,
Yesterday was summer like, today we are back to cloudy and grey. Taking advantage of the free quick drying weather, I stripped the bed, washed the bedding and the mattress cover. Dusted upstairs whilst I was there, and also the DR, where you could write your name in the dust. I spent over 2 hours at the allotment getting my workout for the day. I also forced myself to do an hour’s admin which saw off the backlog.
I am considering another couple of hours at the allotment this morning, just to call time on one patch. Then I really need to do some flying, including HHI. Although the sewing machine is calling, and usually wins over the iron.
Have a good day all. Valli, it sounds like the going is tough x6 -

ETA if we'd had unexpected visitations a year ago, I would have gone into shameful meltdown because of CHAOS but thanks to the lovely fly-community our rooms are all acceptable & beds were made up
Thank you again for your inspiration & support ❤️🤗

I have dusted and polished and vacuumed right through the house. Then the glaziers came to replace a failed double glazing unit so I have dusted and dustpanned the living room! Wasn't too bad, they were very careful.Luckily I got the gardening done yesterday although I think we had a visit from a fox in the night. I found half a big dead bird (maybe a crow or rook) in the garden and separately a hole in the border where they had obviously tried to stash it and then given up and dumped it. Just what I wanted at 6am. I'm not good with dead creatures but just got on with it.Mild out but cloudy.6

Hello all.
Today I have done a work shift, dailies, walked Poppet, cut grass back and front, emptied the compost bin and put the lovely compost on flower and veg borders. I've also hoovered and swept through, put dry washing away and been to docs. All looking good health wise finally, just three monthly checks for now. About to do second work shift.Spend less now, work less later.7 -
