3.1 is obviously not the Claim Particulars!Mikee_F said:Coupon-mad said:That's non-POFA, so you might only wish to admit to being the keeper at this point, in your paragraph 2.
Then you can add some facts in para 3.1 after the usual para 3 by shahib_02 which is already linked for everyone in the Template Defence.
We only want to see your para 3.1 please. You can copy para 3 yourself and change the date there, to make sense. We don't need to check that simple bit, nor the Template Defence. DON'T show us the whole bog standard template defence...thanks!Hi,Thanks, so basically para 2 I leave it with the end of being only the keeper, due to non-POFA letter and that's it I won't add that I am the driver. So para 3 it's just the paragraph from the thread with the date changed and 3.1 would be the below? The rest of the defence I only need to leave it as is or is there anything else I need to adapt to my situation?---------------------------------------------------------------//----------------------------------------------//----------------------------3.1 Particulars of Claim 1. The Defendant (D) is indebted to the Claimant (C) for a Parking Charge issued to vehicle XXXXXXX(my plate number) at (346) Southgate Car Park.2. The PCN(s) were issued on 28/11/2023
3. The defendant is pursued as the driver of the vehicle for breach of the terms on the signs (the contract). Reason:Authorised vehicles only
4. In the alternative the defendant is pursued as the keeper pursuant to POFA 2012, Schedule 4.
AND THE CLAIMANT CLAIMS
1. £170 being the total of the PCN(s) and damages.
2. Interest at a rate of 8% per annum pursuant to s.69 of the County Courts Act 1984 from the date hereof at a daily rate of £.02 until judgment or sooner payment.
3. Costs and court fees---------------------------------------------------------------//--------------------------PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Wonderful, thank you so much for your reply.Coupon-mad said:That's correct but obviously you've added your claim number and correct Claimant - and as for a date, you can see from the Template that the date goes under your signature at the very end.
YOU CANNOT PUT A DEFENCE IN THE BODY OF AN EMAIL.
It's a PDF and of course you don't need to print it. Nobody does. Just put an electronic signature on it.

Hi everyone,
I recently (31/12/25) received a letter about my parking ticket - previous thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6594776/met-park-ticket-from-2023#latest and now I received the attached letter. I had received a previous letter to move courts but it was for the claimant to send the info, didn't say any action for the defendant so I didn't do anything.
But I can't understand exactly what's happening, do I need to turn up at the court, or when or do I need to action anything the letter, the more I read the more confused I get. My understanding is currently I don't need to do anything as per point 1, my understanding is I am not liable and therefore I don't need to do anything? Am I correct thinking this or there's actually something?
Can someone help please?
I have attached the letter below
Thanks in advance

So MET Parking, presumably via DCB LEGAL ?
You should have added the above to your previous thread so I will report it for merging
Post the date of the trial fee deadline
Post the date that your WS plus Exhibits bundle is due too
If the trial fee is not paid, no hearing happen
Expect DCB LEGAL to discontinue just before the hearing fee is due , by email2 -
Of course this Order contains action for you. It is right there in para 7 and this is a fully expected normal stage.
You seem to have missed reading the section (calling out to people at your stage) in massive red capitals in the NEWBIES thread second post: IMPORTANT: KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN.
Read that now.
Not that you'll have a hearing anyway but you know that from @Umkomaas' thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi Thanks for this, I was not sure if I had posted on my previous post it would be caught.Gr1pr said:So MET Parking, presumably via DCB LEGAL ?

Point 3) the claim will be heard at, location, on 13 March 2026 time estimate 90 minutes
Then "Unless the Claimant does by 4pm on the 13 February 2026 pay to the court the Trial fee of £27.00....
The exhibits bundle (I assume is what's on point 7)? if so that's due on the 28th January 20261 -
To be fair there's quite a lot of "subtitles" or things in massive red capitalsCoupon-mad said:Of course this Order contains action for you. It is right there in para 7 and this is a fully expected normal stage.

In post two? There's only one heading in red capitals but at least you are there now. You have a few days to get this stage done.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Its your Witness Statement plus Exhibits bundle that they usually want, which is a deadline next week, earlier than the hearing fee deadline, but still likely to be discontinued before the hearing fee is due, or earlierMikee_F said:Gr1pr said:So MET Parking, presumably via DCB LEGAL ?

Yes I did find it, under "know what you must do and by when" I was wondering if you'd be able to help me with the belowCoupon-mad said:In post two? There's only one heading in red capitals but at least you are there now. You have a few days to get this stage done.
My understanding from the template defence is that it's
a) send N180 forms
b) Send WS
c) If they don't discontinue
Based on this my assumption/understanding is that I only have to send my WS
Or do I need to send further evidence, a bit down below there are a few points but it states "can include" a) a case of beavis, b) photos proving the scarce/illegible small print signs...
Thank you
