Am I right in thinking that as I am a pensioner I just need to send hard copy bank statement showing my state pension payment with NI number as proof of ID?0

I sent my tax code notice from HMRC which has NI number and my pension details on it and my birth certificate.
It should list all the acceptable options on the form.0
