Lebara: how to switch to their cheaper deal

I have a Lebara rolling contract. The new deals are much better, offering 10g for the same price but as I am already with them I am excluded. Any ideas how to access the deals?
thank you

You will have to port your number out temporarily to another provider and then port it back into Lebara.

Any ideas how long the number has to be de ported, as it were. Hours or a day?

I have a similar question as OP.

I followed an MSE link, took up the Lebara deal which was say £2 for first 6 months then £6 thereafter.

I now want to port another number over from Sky for family member and noticed better deals hidden behind options and tabs, so I want to move the existing sim first.

However, who is a good company to move to, they all seem to have quirks in their terms and conditions.

I expect I will have to pay for a month elsewhere but like OP, how long do I need to be away from Lebara and still get an MSE deal?

I have just found out the hard way about Lebara's very poor service when setting up. You can't choose the same day as you request a port of your existing number to have it transferred. You therefore have to put back your old sim until the day in question if you want to still be available for calls. I wish I'd known this before signing up.

I had a sense of dread when moving from Sky to Lebara, I had read numerous posts here and on Trustpilot 1 star reviews.

The issue I had was getting the new SIM, that was Royal Mail, but they then sent me a replacement by guaranteed next day postage, their original SIM turned up weeks later.

I don't know that you get to choose the day with any network provider, last time I moved the texts moved but not the calls, it took 3 days to sort it out.

I put the new sim in an old phone and just waited.
