Just concentrate on getting your new home sorted to how you want it to be and get on with your life. Don't let the past blight your future.2

They all seem like your responsibility to check with the possibility of of the wires. It was your job to get the gas checks (boiler and disconnected fire). It was your job to review the state before accepting completion (where you would have notice droppings, leaks, dirt). If they took a light fitting that was previously there but didn't make good/safe then thats the only one that they would be responsible for but once again should have been raised when you viewed before acceptance.Ask yourself is it really worth the hassle though to chase them over a wire.1
