Virgin Money Regular Saver

  • I was also notified by email that my Virgin Regular Saver would be maturing on 31/07, and would be converted to an Everyday Saver from 1/08, yada yada...

However, I have just logged in (1/08), and it is still showing as a Virgin Regular Saver with interest rate of 10%? Wonder if they have just not updated it from the user end yet, or if I am still really earning 10% on the money in there. Tempted to pay another £250 in today!

    Anyone else?

The update on the Regular Saver discussion thread is that the name will change overnight but it is now an everyday saver

  • Has anyone closed their Everyday Saver yet? Looking on the Virgin Money website I can only find a form to close current accounts - is it possible to use the same form to close an everyday saver?

I have withdrawn the funds so this is just to capitalise July’s interest and tidy up my accounts.

Yes, you can use that form. Ensure remaining balance is zero. Don't expect it to happen quickly.
