in Water bills
Does anyone know if Northumbrian Water still offer a discount for paying by direct debit? Specifically, I don't have a water meter and I pay over 10 months. I've not been able to find a definitive answer online, and there's no mention of it on the bill I've just received. Thanks

I'm not with Northumbrian but have not heard of any DD discounts for any water company.
More importantly - why do you not have a water meter? That's where most people find they can make a saving. If you are single and in a small place with no pool, garden etc then it would be a good idea. If there are 10 of you at home and have several cars being washed, a huge garden, pool etc not such a good idea.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Also, Northumbrian did offer the discount, but there's no mention of it now. I'm guessing they've sneakily stopped it.
