APCOA Parking fine/Parking charge

Good afternoon, I hope this finds you well...

I have read a few threads on APCOA but wanted to start my own just to make sure I get the correct advice, so thank you in advance.

I went to a cinema in Halifax, West Yorkshire and watched a film which was around 2 hours long, which is how long I stayed in the car park.  I have done this many many times and i always pay on the app on my phone.  For whatever reason on this occasion, I did not pay, it just totally slipped my mind as I was in a rush and not thinking straight. SO i hold my hands up to that.

It normally costs a few quid to use the car park for that length of time but to my surprise, the letter says I owe £100 but if I pay within 28 days I can pay £60.  This to me seems totally ridiculous, is there any way I can fight this do you think? Or just negotiate a lower price, would even be happy with £10 or £20.

Letter states I have to ether pay, appeal or let them know who was driving.

I can upload the letter if needed.

Thank you in advance, any help is much appreciated :)

Just copy the appeal words found when you search for:

    APCOA appeal 100% win

No blabbing about who was driving or about the incident itself. Keeper appeals citing 'no keeper liability'. Keeper wins.

You are under zero obligation to do any of the above, especially the last one.  A company can only "invite" you to name the driver and you can decline that invitation.

    No we don't.

Odd though because that exact search gets 5.5 thousand results (obviously, filter results to 'NEWEST' when searching).

Or do another keyword search for your own choice of words or why not just read yesterday's posts about APCOA cases which were literally right next to your thread?
