Find me a cheap Ryanair bag

I've purchased priority boarding which includes the underseat bag, and also an overhead locker bag @10kg 55x40x20cms.
I'd like to get as close to this as possible. I found one in Home Bargains for £25, but it stands 56cm tall, with the wheels, and I'm not sure I want to risk it.
What's the closest anyone has got?

I wouldn't risk even an extra cm with Ryan air and would be tempted to keep it within the limit, rather than max it out.

One tip, check reviews when buying. A colleague bought a Ryanairr size 'cabin bag' last summer advertised as 55x40x20 and when measured on arrival it was actually a little over that so would be unlikely to fit in the measuring boxes at airport. Having mentioned this to others it seemed this catches a few people who go by the advert and not by the actual measurements.

Personally I wouldn't worry about an extra cm. I've been on dozens of Ryanair flights and always surprised by the bags that are obviously oversized they let through. I've been through with well oversized bags myself, although ones I could squash down by eg taking out a fleece/jacket and wearing it, but never been challenged so never had to.

That's all well and good if they don't check thoroughly, but there have been posts where it has been strictly enforced when it can get expensive.  I think some luggage sellers quote sizes that don't tally with reality, not including wheels for instance, so you need to measure them yourself to be sure you have the actual dimensions.
And then decide whether to take your chances or not.

Seems to vary a lot depending on what kind of Jobsworths are working that day even on full flights. I flew back from Alicante a couple of weeks ago and didn't see any bag checks at all.

We have been on 3 trips this year with Ryan air, we used an aerolite bag which is the exact Ryan air size. It also has a front pouch which zips off to become a holiday handbag so you can leave the bigger bag at your hotel and just take out your handbag during the day but when travelling home you zip it back on and it becomes 1 bag again.
It holds loads too and being a rucksack keeps your hands free. You also get a 10 year guarantee.  Brilliant!

PS roll all clothing into tubes (sausage like shapes) and you will pack much more into your bag

£15.99 free delivery on Amazon- much cheaper than via their direct website

I have this one from Cabinmax (also on Amazon), which has saved my life! I used to travel with the wheelie hand luggage only, and now that the prices are over the top this fits more than enough for a 4-5 day trip, if you organize yourself well enough and mix and match outfits: https://cabinmax.com/collections/40x20x25-luggage-bags/products/rpet-metz-stowaway-20l-cabin-backpack-40x20x25-cm-for-ryanair-under-seat-free-allowance
  • Try a Stuffa Jacket www.stuffa.co.uk they are ideal for avoiding bag fees and excess charges. They carry as much as a cabin bag and could be used in conjunction with an underseat bag. Saved me £££ over the years. I take around 20 flights a year and never had an issue.

Have really noticed that, EasyJet in particular, are strictly enforcing bag fees since the beginning of the year. Staff patrolling at the start of the check in queue arming with card machines for payment!

B&M are doing an inexpensive bag which claims to be accepted by Ryanair.
They have a few bags under the brand name Bordlite - worth a look ?
