Shared ownership eligibility

Hi, I’m hoping someone can help clarify some information whilst i wait to hear back for some professional advice.
As I understand it household income can’t be above £80k to be eligible for a shared ownership home. Does anyone know what contributes to this limit? I’m reading some sources that say child benefit, disability allowance (2 of my children receive DLA) and UC don’t count, others saying only certain elements of UC count. Is anyone able
to help with any clarification? Thank you

Sorry, I asked specifically about the DLA previously. I have emailed to ask directly as advised and appreciate that link being given. I had a look through the info others had sent and ended up feeling more
confused, I was just wondering if anyone was able expand on the other bits which has confused me whilst I wait for a reply over the weekend

For the mortgage the housing element of UC is ignored but the rent included as an expense.

I don't know the answer as to whether UC and DLA are included as household income in the initial key question as to whether your household income is below 80K. I suspect they will be because they're fundamentally part of your household income. I'm, hopefully just waiting for conveyancing, buying a shared ownership house with solely PIP and UC income. If they were ignored I'd have no income. It can't work both way.

Ed to add you also need to not be able to afford to buy a suitable home without shared ownership, which may be a bigger hurdle to prove if you earn 80K plus two lots of DLA
