Using a LISA

Options
Hi all,

I have a LISA i've been saving in for a fair few years now and have recently moved into my girlfriends house that she has a mortgage on.
Does anyone know if my LISA can be used to buy into her house when she goes through a remortgage or anything similar i could use my LISA on?

Thank you

If you were to formally buy into the property, i.e. not just the mortgage but the title deeds, etc, via a properly-conveyanced transaction, then this should qualify as your first property purchase and eligible for LISA support if compliant with the scheme rules on property valuation, etc.
