SPUSU are total rubbish.. Their customer service is a disgrace and they bill you after auto renewal dates so you don't get the chance to cancel. Industry standard is to advise you of an upcoming billing period. They just threaten you if you complain. Its a tin pot outfit riding on the back of others. If you have a problem you are own your own. Avoid them and just get a far better supplier. The coverage is also crap
""Yes, a phone company should absolutely advise customers of an upcoming payment on their bill, as it is considered good practice to keep customers informed about their billing cycle and upcoming due dates to avoid late fees and potential service disruptions.
Key reasons why phone companies should notify about upcoming payments:
Customer service:
Providing a heads-up allows customers to plan their budget and ensure timely payments, leading to a positive customer experience.
Avoiding late fees:
By notifying customers in advance, companies can minimize instances of late payments and associated charges.
Potential service interruptions:
In case of non-payment, phone companies often have the right to temporarily suspend service, so informing customers beforehand helps prevent disruptions.
How phone companies can advise about upcoming payments:
Email notifications:
Sending regular email reminders with the upcoming due date and bill amount. ""

I had no issues cancelling. Pinged them on WhatsApp. Painless.I’d agree their coverage is poor. I was with them for a whole two weeks. One bill, no additional charges.Just for some balance.0

I have several SIMs in various vehicles connected to built in systems for telephone Tesla style screens and SPUSU has been the worst both in terms of use and most definitely customer service. It appears you cant even cancel a contract on their web portal. I certainly dont want more junk on my already busy Whatapp. I've heard people getting messages from them late at night. Not good when you dont want to be disturbed. I've found that Lebara are far better all round. I also have O2 and Vodaphone SIMs. I guess as they say you get what you pay for as they say and there is a reason why they do cheap deals. Once bitten twice shy. I would never use SPUSU again0
