Hi
I got an email from mse about a long balance transfer card offer. My husband and I have a barclay card which is is our main focus at the moment to pay off as it is a money transfer balance and alsp we have 5k on an hsbc card.
Barlcaycard is due to end in June so need to get that paid off and hsbc 0 percent ends in August and now looks like we won't be paying thay off in time.
Would it be better to wait until end of June early July to look for a balance transfer for the hsbc rather than trying to get get potentially the tesco balance transfer now.
I had hoped to have them paid off sooner but have had to use the money to pay some spends on my husbands cc that attracts interest if we don't pay in full.
Thank you

You can try checking your eligibility now (just to get a idea, don't put much trust into this), but IMO it's better to wait. There always are some offers. However, if you are sure that you'll pay the balance off before the new 0% expires, I don't see any real difference except paying slightly smaller BT fee if you do this later.0

I'm glad you've asked this as was going to ask this myself I'm on a plan to pay mine off to but have one that won't be paid full by around Xmas time but seen that I have offers from Lloyds and MBNA for 30 months interest free didn't know if to wait or do now seems best to wait a little longer.£2820/£4000 0% 24 months pay £150 HSBC
£2,100/£3000 0% 27 months pay £150 M&S
£3,050/£4000 0% 27 months pay £150 HALI
£2,200/£7250 0% 14 months pay £60 RBS
£990/£2000 28% Zable closed £60
mortgage £22,000/£89,000 2 years left0 -
Santander have 0% fee BT card at the moment, its only 12 months but that would buy you another year and wouldn't cost you a penny."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "1
