But don't just blindly copy stuff.

Make it your own and think about it. If you'd rather have a claim in this month or June, than in the Summer Holiday time, of course you don't ask for a 30 day hold.
Yes, that's clear. I just thought it looked good to mention the Pre-Action Protocol as shown on your draft.

I got the following reply from them but they don't answer my question about the VAT nor if the alleged PCN sum is for damages or as consideration for parking? So it looks they are not following the PAP.

    Good Morning

Thank you for your recent correspondence.

The Parking Charge issued is for the sum of £100.00 and our additional costs amount to £60.00. The relevant Code of Practice laid out by the International Parking Community (IPC) states that £100.00 is a reasonable amount to charge for the breach of contract within our Client's car parks. The additional cost of £60.00 represents the nature and type of work undertaken by debt recovery agents in the collection of the balance of the unpaid Parking Charge. Our Client is satisfied that you remain liable for the cost of the PCN and the costs of debt recovery, due to non-payment of the charge in question.

Should you have any further queries please contact our office on 0113 487 0430, or sign in or register on our Customer Portal at www.bwlegal.co.uk.

    Kind Regards

    Ignore that.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi all, as Coupon-Mad anticipated, it seems that UKCPM are continuing with their action and will go forward with the court proceeding.

To be prepared for this, I have drafted my defence as per the attached pictures. In yellow are the lines I have adapted to my case, the other ones are copy-past of previous cases.

Please let me know your thoughts.

Thanks again for the support! Hope I can win this with your help!

Seeing as you have mentioned the DLUHC and 2023, which is out of date,  you appear to have adapted the old defence template,  not last fridays

I suggest that you take the relevant paragraphs above and add them to the new template defence in announcements

Thanks for the answers, @Gr1pr, I will look for the last template then. @Coupon-mad, I haven't received the POC yet but according to their last communication, I should receive it on Friday. I will make sure to share it with you.

You have shown us a defence, so, presumably, you have received a N1SDT court claim form and on that form will be a date of issue and the POC - Particulars of Claim - why do you think "I should receive it on Friday"?
