Flogas contact - we didn't sign, are we tied in?

Hi all, I wonder if you can help me. We recently moved into a rental property with the primary heating/cooking fuel being lpg. There's a buried tank in the garden.
We just received a letter from Flogas that basically says there's around 18 months of a 2 year contract to run, presumably signed by the landlords. Agreeing to a price which seems a lot higher than other lpg suppliers.
My question is. Are we tied into the contract, even though we didn't agree to it or sign it?
It does seem wrong that you have to pay for something you didn't agree too. Thank you.

I'm pretty sure you can get out of contracts when purchasing a new property, as the new owners etc. However, not sure how it works in relation to landlords and tenants etc. usually prices don't rise whilst in contract so presumably you were made aware of the LPG charges when you started renting. Out of interest what is the pence per litre rate. For info, I currently pay 51 ppl plus a daily standing charge of about 18p per day.1

They want us to pay 87p per litre, with a standing charge of 27.12p per day. Yikes.0

You are the customer not the landlord, you can chose your own supplier without ref to them. Even if you move out before the 2 years it will just be up to the next tenant to choose and so on.
