Social Media Platforms

Hi. I'm not sure if this is the correct place to raise this question, but here goes ...
I appreciate that there are a lot of different social media platforms these days and that maintaining a presence on them all is time consuming, but I was wondering is it would be possible to follow MSE on platforms that are not run by the big tech companies such as X / Meta / Google.
Two primary candidates would be:
Fediverse (Mastodon, Peertube, etc.)
Bluesky
Many thanks.

The whole point of being "on" the likes of Facebook/X/Instagram is that they have the lion's share of the user base and you want to be seen and get the word out.The likes of Bluesky and Masterdon do not have that many users (although Masterdon did it says here have an uptick after Twitter changed ownership, but whether the userbase is that active is another question) and its debatable whether they'll ever have that much influence. Its akin to sticking the World Cup final on a little watched TV channel and then wondering why hardly anybody saw it. Whereas if you stick it on BBC One/ITV you'll have more eyes than you know what to do with.0

To be fair, Bluesky now has over 30 million users and counting, with institutions and companies switching over quite regularly now.
Mastodon on the other hand is the Linux of social media.1 -

We don't currently have a presence on these emerging channels (we're a small team and can only manage so much!), and we are keeping an eye on them as options for the future but we don't have plans to jump on them at the moment.
You can find Martin on Bluesky, though, here: https://bsky.app/profile/martinlewis.moneysavingexpert.com
- he posts much of the same content on there as he does on the other major platforms.
All the best,
