Multiple PCNs for yellow box stopping

I have received recently three PSNs and I hoped to get some advice if possible. The first one I received 21st Feb for a contravention dated 21st Nov which was three months prior. The contravention was for stopping in a yellow box. I paid this but then last week I received two more PSNs for the same contravention - one at the same place mentioned above and one more a few miles away. I am really concerned that there are more to follow. I did not realise that stopping in a yellow box was a PSN offence however I feel that the delay in issuing the first fine will now result in many more. If I appeal and it's not successful I will have to pay the full amount. Any advice is most welcome. Also I have been driving for 20+ years and this is the first time I have received a PSN for this contravention.
Thank you!
Thank you!

My understanding is that there's no point in appealing as this is something that is in the highway code and therefore you almost certainly won't have a valid defense. Length of time driving won't be accepted as we're all supposed to keep up to date with what's in the code. (no I haven't read it since taking my test either)
It's an expensive lesson without a doubt but hopefully there will be no more PSNs coming your way.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards.
