2x Lifetime ISAs open at the same time

Can you have a Stocks and Shares Lifetime ISA and Cash Lifetime ISA open at the same time please? With the understanding that you only pay into 1 of them each tax year. Thanks

You can pay into both of them in the same tax year so long as you don't pay more than £4k in total.

Found on the government website this though:

You can only pay into one Lifetime ISA in a tax year. The maximum you can pay in is £4,000.

Yes, that’s exactly right. No idea why it wasn’t made possible to pay into both as part of the new ISA freedoms, but we are where we are.
