RM 2nd Class item delivered weeks ago, + FB left, yet eBay funds not released

Hi folks.
I sold a cheap item 3 weeks ago on my private eBay a/c. Sent RM 2nd class. It was obviously delivered as buyer not only left good feedback but also a message saying how happy they were with the item (always nice to receive such a message). However, eBay are showing 'funds pending - awaiting delivery'.Postman obviously didn't scan the item upon delivering it.
Ironically, I had sold something else afterwards with no feedback left and no delivery confirmation but the funds are available.
Anyone had something similar?

Did you buy the postage through ebay?
Untracked services funds are released after 14 days or after receipt of feedback but tracked services are only released after tracking confirmation. If it was using simple delivery then presumably ebay will be chasing a lost package soon?

Yes, label done via eBay.
Item in question was delivered since feedback left, message etc, just wasn't scanned by postie upon delivering it.
I have a biz eBay a/c which I only use tracked but this being RM 2nd class (item in question sold for under £10). I'm more confused that the other item I sold which I've not received fb for, no delivery confirmation, funds have been released.
I'll contact eBay and see what they say since today will be 15th day since item was delivered (buyer sending a message to say they received it and very happy with item).1 -
So is the other item confirmed as delivered? Or is that untracked?0

But the distinction for release of funds is between tracked services (after confirmation of delivery or 14 days) and untracked services (after 14 days or positive feedback). What seems surprising is that ebay have released funds on the second item, despite it appearing to still be in transit, yet not on the first item.
Ebay statement;
"as of February 2025, UK private seller's sales proceeds now become available in their eBay balance 2 days after the order is delivered. If an order is untracked, seller proceeds will become available 14 days from the order date. For more information, read ..."- For tracked deliveries, funds will be available 2 calendar days after we receive confirmation from the tracked service that the delivery was successful
For untracked, single-quantity, single-item orders priced £10 or less, funds will be available after positive feedback is received from the buyer, or 14 days from the order date, whichever comes first
There appears to be a difference between sending a large letter purchasing a label through ebay and simply sticking a stamp on an envelope, which ebay can't track.
For delivery confirmation do postmen routinely barcode each stamp before posting it through your letterbox?
According to that statement funds should be released after 14 days, even if the item is still in transit.0 -
I’ve got a couple of items pending, one that was just 2nd class letter states as expected a fixed funds available date with no tracking, one LL with a tracking number is still down as pending delivery, the 14 days will be up tomorrow so will be interested if it goes like the OP or switches so I get paid.0
