Water leak repaired but where is meter ?

Hi all

I recently had a leak repaired by Thames Water at my water stop tap outside of my boundary ( ie in the footpath path)

I leak was repaired a couple of days ago but when l look down my hole now l couldn't see any meter.

The is a white cap and l wondered if the meter was under that.   I tried to check but couldn't really get to it as chamber is quite deep.

Looks like they have removed the meter and pipe connections and fitted the new pipe connections and a new cover / access pipe.  The white 'cap' is where a new meter will be fitted, likely by a different team of workers. 

You are best asking Thames Water directly about this.  They will know!

PS Hope you have a fairly recent reading off the old one
