TalkTalk Gift Vouchers not being issued

I took out a new broadband contract with TalkTalk back in November 2024 and I was promised a £70 gift voucher if I took out this contract so I went ahead.
I never received the voucher and I contacted TalkTalk who informed me that they use the company Gift Cloud for issuing these vouchers. I contacted Gift Cloud who are informing me to take the matter up with TalkTalk (passing the buck).
Alarmingly after checking online reviews there are many others complaining it's a TalkTalk scam just to get new contracts.
My question is who is responsible if I wish to make a formal complaint? TalkTalk or Gift Cloud?

No, it is not a scam, why do so many people seem to think a failure to perform is always a scam?
Get yourself over to the TT forums and see if you can get some staff help there.
Hopefully you have screenshots of the offer when you signed up along with any relevant reference/order numbers.2 -
Correctly as that is who your contract is with. You have no contract with Gift Cloud.jazzy said:I took out a new broadband contract with TalkTalk back in November 2024 and I was promised a £70 gift voucher if I took out this contract so I went ahead.

TalkTalk aren't interested they are stating it's a Gift Cloud matter. So many similar complaints on the TalkTalk Community page.Ayr_Rage said:No, it is not a scam, why do so many people seem to think a failure to perform is always a scam?

They can't just duck out of their responsibilities. If the offer and therefore the contract included the vouchers, and those vouchers have not materialised in the timescale promised, then TalkTalk have breached the contract and you have a right to cancel.jazzy said:

Have you checked the terms of the offer? What do they say? Is it one of those where there are a finite number of vouchers and it's a "while stocks last" things?0 -
It isn't a scam, it's just incompetance. I was supposed to get £120 love to shop vouchers a few years back within 3 months of signing up. I didn't recieve anything so complained to them and they finally set me out the vouchers. About 3 three weeks later I received a second £120 voucher.0

I was with TT for years and active on the forums too, a lot of the voucher issues were down to the customer not following the procedure for claiming.
You'll just have to keep on at TT and see if they can resolve the issue.0 -
The contract renewal was done online through chat messages I have the chat transcript saved. The offer just stated that I have to wait 90 days for the voucher to be issued.Aylesbury_Duck said:

Is the 90 days up? You said you spoke to them in November, but was the offer 90 days from the start of the contract?jazzy said:

Looks like Talk Talk are engaging with you on the talk talk forum. Also remember the voucher is only one week overdue.0

TalkTalk informed me that Gift Cloud issued the voucher on the 4th January, which I never received.powerful_Rogue said:Looks like Talk Talk are engaging with you on the talk talk forum. Also remember the voucher is only one week overdue.0
