Outfox deal today is a cracker
I can see 3 tariffs 1y 18m 2y is it one of those
The 1y version 4 appeared over the weekend and is by far the cheapest tariff at the moment, works out roughly £10 a month cheaper than my current deal with them that expires next month, thinking do I sign up now or wait it out in case a slightly better deal appears.
£10/month means nothing how much per kWh tells the real story plus the SC and the region you are in.

Yeah I understand that, it was just a rough figure comment, apart from the gas standing charge all other figures are cheaper than my current  deal for my region.

I'm in a similar situation to above, I switched to 'Fix'd Dual Feb25 v1.0' in the panic but just seen 'Fix'd Dual Apr25 12M v2.0' could save me 5%.

OTM said I can change tariffs with no penalty but presumably I'm then fixed for another few months, I know future energy prices are a crystal ball but is it worth it?
Yes, every time you swap to a different fix the clock resets.

I'm currently on 2-year Fix'd Dual Apr25 v3.0. I've already swapped twice before, from a 1 year fix from last year, and another 2 year fix I joined a few weeks before I joined the one I'm on. I keep an eye on the new fixes, to see if it's worth my while swapping again, but all the subsequent ones have either been dearer, offered no saving, or offered only a minor saving. The current 2 year v4 fix would apparently save me £26 a year, which I don't consider worth it, especially since the exit fee is £50 higher than the one I'm on right now.

I use the Cheap Energy Club to compare. Sometimes what Foxy themselves say doesn't correspond with that - I've had instances of one saying I'd save, and the other saying I'd pay more, with the same tariff!

Version 5 is now out, comparing prices against version 4 for me gas unit stays the same, electric unit slightly up, both standing charges are down. Estimated £1.05 P.M cheaper currently.

Is it worth changing to May v4 or v5 if I'm on Feb25 v1.0? Cheap energy club suggests savings but then im locked in for 12 months for now.....

If the saving is significant, it's a no brainer if you ask me. If it's small it might not be worth it. Foxy let's you swap fixes internally with no penalty, but every time you do the clock resets, so you're tied to their fixes for longer.

If you consider the savings worthy enough to transfer to version 5 then adding three extra months to a new contract may be worth it.

About £150 a year so made the switch, thanks. I can see myself doing it again if the tariffs keep coming on a downward trajectory.
