My Number Was Stolen From Three Mobile Due To A Security Flaw

My Three Mobile phone number was stolen two days ago..not my phone but my actual number...so I tried to replicated what I thought was the procedure that the fraudsters responsible had taken to access my account and I found I was able to get through Three security with nothing more than my Name, Birth Date and Post Code…information that is readily available online..this is what the hackers did I believe...as my telephone number is my two step authentication I have had two days of hell..like in a movie ..watching things happen..it was a race to change passwords and numbers associated with accounts..Three have been totally useless and have not taken it seriously.. I had to discover myself that the number was transferred to Vodafone immediately..and two days later it is still on the Vodafone network..I managed to make contact with the CEO of Three who said that he would look into it..I have heard nothing from Three since..not a single update..there’s more to the story of course..in my situation it was a perfect storm of events....my number is my life..everything is connected to it..from doctors, banks, two step authentication to my mum!.it’s also my business number..that is now going through to some fraudsters..it’s a disaster…Three customers need to know about this loophole..it was so easy..the loop hole needs to be closed..
