New Dishwasher.....

We have a bosch one that is nearly 10 years old, we had to call out the repair man about 18 months ago who said due to the age of the machine we should just get a new one but it was cheaper to get repaired so he did (£110). It has been working fine since and we are a family of 5 and use it daily sometimes even more! I wouldn't get any other make in the future, we have a bosch washing machine too and that's great.

have you tried www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk for great reviews on all domestic appliances, the site also helps on other Whitegoods related matters, repairs/hints/tips etc etc.

thanks this was a really helpful site....the model i've chosen they've said is the only one they'd reccomend under £400 soseems ok there.

Yep, according to the assistant I dealt with in John Lewis when I bought mine, the John Lewis branded appliances are just AEG Electrolux with a JL badge on.

I've got a John Lewis slimline one, £299 just over a year ago, and have found it to be very good and quiet.
