So in actual fact the DRIVER parked the vehicle in or over the hatched area  ( they are mistaken if they said that YOU were in a hatched area, people are always in hatched areas  )  its the vehicle itself that was observed,  the non driving RK received the postal notice etc

    Ignore them all

Come back to this thread if or when a legal company such as DCB Legal contact you
Ok thank you for your advice , I’ll ignore the letter for now, is it worth contacting group nexus again?
Definitely not, they will refer you to the debt collectors,  or ignore your query
If it does go far does it mean I’ll end up paying anyway ?
    No.

But don't try POPLA. There's no point in that.

Read the forum and gain confidence; nobody cares about £170 DCB Ltd threatograms that come next.  PLEASE DO NOT SHOW THEM TO US!

Sit tight. Do nothing except the below:

By going confidently into the 'ignore' stance, the only steps to take are:

    - Tell them if you move house within 6 years.

    - Ignore the tedious £170 threatograms shown in pictures in the 4th post of the NEWBIES thread

    - Come back if you get a solicitor's LBC or a Claim Form, as per the 2nd post of the NEWBIES thread.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD

Just to add I went back to the same car  park and the sign does not mention parking in a hatched area it only says park within a bay - is this relevant at all
