Lebara sim without smartphone?

Hi.
Does anyone know if you can use a new Lebara sim in a non smartphone?
The website says that you have to activate the SIM by downloading the MyLebara app.

Maybe this is a fairly new thing where the SIM is now linked to an app?

dc_scotland is right has soon as you put the sim in your phone it will activate automatic, then just register on there website from your laptop or desktop computer i never use there mobile app
i just check from there website how much allowence i have using my computer.

I use mine in a 4g router - it just worked and no way to download an app. I just log on on a pc to check allowances etc

Hi. It worked. I was trying to help someone remotely with this.
I think the issue was that the welcome letter with the SIM card made out that you had to download the app.
