Downloading boarding pass to mobile app

I've printed off the paper copy of my boarding pass but would also like to have it digitally on my phone however I can't seem to work out how to do this. Does it mean I can't download it digitally if I have already downloaded and printed it off. Thanks

Which airline are you referring to?
It should normally be possible to access via app even after printing, but if you clarify who it is, it should be possible to advise further....1 -

You could take a photo of the paperwork.1

I'm travelling with Easyjet. I've got their app on my phone but can't seem to do it. I'll take a pic of the paper one as a backup anyway.0

You're free to download/print/etc as many times as you want, I usually use my phone but keep a printed copy in my backpack for emergencies.Know what you don't1 -
Yes I have the wallet but nothing going in. Weird, I'm sure I've done both before0

If you have the downloaded and printed copy then I'd suggest you are good to go as is.The mobile version is obviously useful of course but not essential if you have the traditional version.I have read a few stories about passengers losing their mobile service at the time it's needed at boarding gate and having to rely on the paper copy. Not sure if a photo of the latter is acceptable for airlines - maybe somebody can confirm, or otherwise ?1

A photo or pdf of the boarding pass is unlikely to work, you need a mobile boarding pass which is different (usually a QR code not a bar code)0 -
"You don't need mobile service at the boarding gate, provided you've previously checked in and downloaded the boarding pass."I suspect those who did report a problem probably had no battery power rather than network service ?Never experienced that potential issue - I always carry a small power pack in hand luggage and ensure the handset has a decent charge before going to the gate.
