What exactly do you want the dialer to do?PF.0 -
If you dial "00448457 404 404" for example for HSBC bank, get the dialler to redirect this to "08447210001####". This will dial the access number, wait 4 seconds then dial the 0845 number, but you would need to dial 0044 instead of the leading zero. You'd still need to remember to do this, but at least you wouldn't need to remember the access number.
You'd program this as a "00448" start to the number in CW Client, similar to the "00447" given in the other post about mobile numbers.
You'd probably want to put a bar on "0044844", "0044871" and "004470" to stop more expensive numbers calling through and being rejected.0 -
It would appear that TalkTalk won't route the 0844 number either but its working by dialing back to BT with 1280 for a call to USA (Glad's young son is trying to phone his girlfriend in Texas
)
edited to add, scrap that a call to me came through using it via TalkTalk.0 -
Have they closed this loophole ? I tried it for two 0870 numbers today, on one it said engaged (which it should never be as the number I dialled was for a recorded message service) and on the other it put me through to a wrong number (somebody's voice mail).
I did start the number with 0044 870 etc.
I went back to using the dialaround 5p/min number 0844 566 7575 and got through on the first dial to both 0870 numbers I wanted to call.0 -
I've just tried it and it informed that this destination is unavailable. I believe they have realised their mistake and barred 0870 numbers. I did mention it was likely a mistake and they'd realise and block these numbers but just didn't expect them to realise it so quickly. lol.
UPDATE: I misdialled the 0870 number and forgot to put in 44 after the initial 00. Therefore, it still does work. My apologies for this.0 -

Just tried to use this for an 0845 number. I got through to the company I wanted to call, but the line quality was so poor and crackly I had to give up as I couldn't hear the menu options properly.
Maybe I was just unlucky, thanks to the OP anyway0 -
