That auto response is the only response you will get, you don't get a second one, it doesn't matter what it says, it only matters as proof of receipt of your N180. ( delivered successfully. )
It requires a human being to Log it and so will take longer before you see it logged in your MCOL claim history , probably between the 5th and 9th January
So wait it out for another 2 weeks2 -
Just a little update.
Had my mediation call. Was a really nice gentlemen and basically I explained my view point and he went and called DCBL. They came back with their stupid offer off £220, I offered a fiver. They came back with £170 and I said I'd only pay £5 and mediator said that it was lowest DCB would go so marked at not settled.
Looking forward to discontinuation or meeting them at court!2 -
It does not follow they will discontinue but no dobt they will because they have misled you and the court by adding a FAKE £70
DCBL are going against the Supreme Court ruling. There is every reason to believe that a judge will spank them whereby you can claim your costs
No doubt you will get begging letters offering a deal, par for the course with DCBL …. you ignore. This is the first sign that they have taken on a rubbish claim
Be patient, they can discontinue just a few days before court
As DCBL are known to TRY-IT-ON and the courts also know about the fakery
Play this stupid game with DCBL

DCBL are not involved here, just the defendant, DCB LEGAL, and the claimant parking company, First Parking

Whatever DCBL call themselves, it all adds up to DCBL
Be it DCB LTD or DCBlegal it's only the desk opposite

Hey guys,
I've just received my Notice of Allocation to the Small Claims Track (Hearing). My hearing date is around 5 weeks away so I just want to begin gather all the stuff I need if DCB Legal do end up paying the trial fee.
If DCBlegal do pay the fee what steps do I need to take? Also how do I get the evidence pack that I initially received from First Parking as I've lost that in my emails and can't find it? Just send an SAR?
Thanks again for all the help so far0 -
No, they have to send you a fresh evidence pack, called a Witness Statement.
You exchange Witness Statements via email (or post), and copy in the court. You should have a deadline to exchange WS's in your letter.
Often it is after the date that they have to pay the hearing fee, so most people do nothing and ring the court up the day after their fee was due to check it was paid (they usually don't).

They'll discontinue but prepare your WS just in case.
As always, copy one. The forum is a resource of examples. Search & read some recent 2026 WS!
And obviously re-read the section in the sticky thread that nobody ever seems to remember to read: the WS & evidence advice with the exhibit list nobody ever uses until we point it out…

Hey guys
Just called up the court this morning and as expected they haven't paid the hearing fee! What are my steps now, do I just wait for the discontinuation? My deadline for witness statement is next week so should I still submit that?0 -
You can do, especially if its ready to go
You can email DCB LEGAL requesting a copy of the N279 discontinuation document ASAP or you will write to the court and claim wasted costs ( if its not already in your inbox or spam folder )
Use their info@ email address
The hearing is vacated if its not paid for
