Does anyone else still have this old contract with o2. I have had it for over 20 years and paid £99.99 upfront for the contract in 2001 and still have the paperwork. Whilst I was annoyed to get this advice earlier in the year, I had rationalised that £21.60 a year was still remarkable value. Perhaps not so much so @£43 or £65 in a year or two's time.

Pleased though that the charge has been suppressed. Typical o2 inefficiency or someone took a sensible decision for a change?
