Oh sorry, I was thinking the LBC was dated earlier in Feb but I see you said "My partner has received a ‘letter before claim’ from Gladstones solicitors. Letter date 11.02.25."
Show us the LBC. Did it actually state 14th March to respond?
And your partner used the right words about seeking debt advice?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

LBC here , sorry I got my dates wrong but either way the deadline was the 14th and we used the words from the template regarding seeking debt advice

If they are "on it" they will simply ignore the protocol and issue proceedings to protect their position. A court will never penalise a claimant for issue of proceedings within time.
Quite possible they'll get distracted, mind..3 -
The court case reference they are referring to is
old. There are CCJs already on file against these numbers related to the parking fines. Is there anything we need to do? They are due to come off the file end of this year/q1 next year as will be six years

Are you saying that some 2019 PCNs are being chased with an LBC that lists PCN numbers that are the exact same ones already litigated?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Are you saying that some 2019 PCNs are being chased with an LBC that lists PCN numbers that are the exact same ones already litigated?Yes. CCJ numbers on the letter, cross referenced with what is on credit file and land registry. They match, example below where you can see the judgement date in 20190 -
But how do you know that the LBC is chasing the same PCN numbers?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

This situation is becoming quite confusing.
the letter I mentioned above has a list of PCNs (some in the original LBC and some additional)
then it has a list of different PCNs, with a CCJ number that matches the file. So it looks like two seperate issues
they have now sent a follow up email, that relates to the original LBC chasing payment. They have said to pay by 7th April to avoid further action. Further to make payment will result in legal issues without further recourseThey have also highlighted that because a template from the internet has been used, they will not reply in anymore detail, and they will not be accepting any more submissions
is this normal? They have ignored the 30 day request, but we are now over the five year limit of the original parking charge date? Any advice?0
