I have been reading more about PPS and trace and worried these letters will just keep coming about court threats. Is it true ?Any chance I should contact either PPS London or trace to sort it out ?I never had the chance for apeal cause I came to know about the letters too late (sent to scotland address instead of my new one)0

Does it matter? Who cares, nothing will happen!athena_green said:I have been reading more about PPS and trace and worried these letters will just keep coming about court threats. Is it true ?
You WANT the letters to go to Scotland because they can't sue there.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

To me, it looks like you haven't read the NEWBIE sticky, especially the bit that states: -Q - ''I'm in Scotland/NI, so is the advice different?''YES. IF THE EVENT TOOK PLACE IN SCOTLAND OR NORTHERN IRELAND, WE SUGGEST YOU DO (ALWAYS!) COMPLAIN TO STORE MANAGEMENT IF YOUR PCN IS FROM A RETAIL PARK, AND SEND THE USUAL TEMPLATE APPEAL FOR YOUR CASE, NOT SAYING WHO WAS DRIVING. HOWEVER, DO NOT TRY POPLA BECAUSE POPLA (IN A CASE THAT TOOK PLACE OUTSIDE ENGLAND/WALES) WILL REQUIRE YOU TO STATE IF YOU WERE DRIVING OR NOT, AND THAT IS THE ONE THING NOT TO DISCLOSE.1

I hoped we'd made that clear in earlier replies? They can't touch you if using a Scottish address so for goodness sake don't contact them just to stop their laughable love letters.athena_green said:They can't ?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you for your advice.
The event took place in England. As mentioned in my first post it was in southall London. But my vehicle was registered in Scotland at the time since I was in the process of finding a new home in England. However, after their first letter, my address had been changed yet they still sent to my Scotland old home.
Currently now residing in my new home in England and my vehicle is registered here.As per your previous advice, I had tried emailing PPS London to let DPO know to erase my old data and replace it with my current address for service . However, i didn’t hear anything back.I have not made any phone contact with either PPS or trace.Thank you for helping again. Sorry, this is my first time dealing with this and because of the address change there has been confusion.0 -
