Horizon Parking, worth appealing?

I’ll be honest, I feel as if I won’t win this appeal. I overstayed for around 15 minutes, at a Tescos managed by Horizon. Would the template work for appeal? Only reason I’m adamant about going through the appeal route in the first place is that if I do go through POPLA, it would mean I lose the right to pay the discounted amount.

Have you not complained to Tesco to get pcn cancelled....Plan A in the NEWBIES thread Announcement.

Thank you for the reply, the Tescos is in a weird spot so to say. It’s surrounded by a plaza, with shops, which is where I went. The car park however is owned by Tescos, as I’ve discovered unfortunately lol. So I’m not sure if it’s worth complaining to them.0

I would take your shopping back along with your loyalty card and tell the manager your loyalty is going else where ...

I have some tesco bags, maybe I should drop them off and start a protest with customer service lol. But in all honesty is it worth complaining to them? I never went to the Tescos, not sure if they can verify that0

No but appeals v Horizon are currently on 100% win rate since the single case a POPLA assessor got wrong. Horizon now drop out.replywithin14days said:I have some tesco bags, maybe I should drop them off and start a protest with customer service lol. But in all honesty is it worth complaining to them? Horizon drop like swatted flies
or just read the recent posts in POPLA DECISIONS. You can copy & paste the appeal shown in any Horizon POPLA 2025 thread as long as you do not tick 'driver'.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I’ve looked at some recent posts, but it seems like the letter they receive fails to include the ‘after the period of 28 days beginning with the day after that on which the notice is given’, however the letter I received does include that. Also the location, although no postcode or address, states the specific Tesco, and it seems like the only one in the area. Feel like I don’t have any reasonable grounds to appeal it, although the cases are 100% win as you mentioned, I’m still a little nervous to go ahead and try to appeal this.Coupon-mad said:

Please please double-check the exact wording you have on your NtK. If it is as shown below, you have a win at POPLA as long as you don't admit who was driving.
If not, please post your redacted NtK as Horizon may have caught on at last..
