Hi all from Mehefinland - just an update on Scoobymare

Got some pain relief for her today from vets which shehas started on. Farrier came this afternoon to try to open up the discharge point on her abscess but she wouldn't let him pick her foot up. She is obviously in considerable discomfort and is showing pain sweat on her sides. We are going to leave it for a few days whilst the drugs kick in and try again. If necessary I may have to get the vet out to sedate her so we can attack the source of the pain -  hopefully not!
She has been lying down this afternoon which is probably a good thing in that it will take pressure off her foot, however if she is putting weight on it, it may push out some more of the pus. Until she is comfortable enough it is an unknown. Not sure if something may be going on in the other foot too, or it could just be she is compensating her weight balance. Worrying times (again).
Met the play therapist this morning who is going to use the library on Friday for a few sessions. She was very happy with the set up. 
Took some old rotting logs down later to part fill the new planters -  they will take an awful lot of compost otherwise.

Just in from my day out and when I saw more than the usual number of posts on here  I thought there must be something amiss for somebody. Oh poor you Snoozer, I hope you can be sorted out soon and allowed home  and i hope poor Scooby picks.up.soon too. X

Not much going on. Need to save money as new home keeps on giving. Had to have a new thermostat & CO2 monitor replaced. Ch was working but timer wasn’t. Need a new back door and surround as it’s partially rotten. Gutters need clearing and several other jobs. 

At least it’s mine now - well halve the banks. Anything I spend money on is for my benefit. The plan is to do some more overtime.

DS2is doing ok, still building his strength up in his leg so not yet able to work.
