Hi everyone,
I'm writing this from an infamous hospital trolley. Long story short I had chest pain yesterday evening, 111 sent me to urgent care who sent me to a and e. Bloods indicate no heart attack but ECG is iffy so I'm waiting for a cardiologist. I was on a chair in the waiting room till 5.30 and then was taken pity on and given a trolley. Hopefully I'll be allowed out today, I hate staying in hospital
Ruby, say you'll bill her in advance.
Mehefin, poor Scooby, hope her hoof is better today.
Dp1, fingers crossed it works.12 -
Morning all. We did get some sun yesterday after all but none expected today and it's still on the cool side. My heating is still on for the best part of the day but hopefully that will change if we get a milder spell. I'm not looking forward to taking meter readings tomorrow!
Like others have said, I too sometimes find it hard to remember what I've done, the days aren't always memorable! I do know the kitchen cupboard clean and sort didn't happen yesterday as I got waylaid by the small back bedroom that serves as an office/craft storage space. It's not a dumping ground but needed a good tidy up and I can see it needs decorating too but that will have to wait. I will start on the cupboards today. Tea tonight can be fish fingers, wedges and peas.
@mehefin - Poor Scooby, her hoof must be very painful. Glad to hear the school meals arrangements at the library seem to be going well.
@Scarlet - Happy hairdo day.
@TA - Hope you and bus buddy enjoy your lunch today, if nothing else it will be a change of scenery.
@Ruby - Given Rob's DM's failing health, his current temporary arrangements may well become permanent.
Right, cupboards are a-calling - hugs where needed, take care. X
ETA: @snoozer - I've just read your post and am sending my best wishes that all will be well and you can go home today.Be kind to others and to yourself too.11 -
Morning! Yesterday was a day of mostly sitting down interspersed with washing, drying, taking OH to the docs, pharmacist and work and back again. He has some kind of eczema thing on his hands and they're cracked and bleeding so every time he does something I'm rewarded with a swear. Can't blame him, it looks awful. Next door neighbour has had a successful triple bypass so she may be back soon from London. It's all happening...Going to the allotment today because I completely forgot about the bag of wool which means the fox has probably had it away and it'll be strewn everywhere...snoozer, well, that's a shock, hope you're going to get acceptable news after that but yay to no heart attack! mehefin, hope scooby improves, poor thing, she must be really fed up. Coxy, sounds like fun, I used to love a bit of destructive DIY [ not so great at the mending things but great at demolishing] . Take care all, it's a bit so so today though so hopefully not too cold for you all...Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi10

Morning everyone just realised I didn’t manage to get on yesterday we had a hard frost this morning are these weather forecasters deliberately lying to me they keep saying it’s going to get warm it’s not happening. Yesterday was spent sorting out hubby’s bus pas he refused to have one but the words have happened and he either sorts himself out or he will end up under the patio that’s how fed up I am of him so step one he gets a bus pass and he’s done it we shall see I’ve been to soft for to long the worm has turned 😂 well probably not all the way round two of my teenage granddaughters have been made to sort there bedrooms and wardrobes out the whip is been cracked there as well so guess who has been given the job of taking them to the charity shop they don’t want them don’t need them or grown out of them so I’ve listed some on Vinted and I’ve got a couple of sales already so going to do a bit more today why does it take all hell to be let loose before anything gets done . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing10

Hello all, we've had a frustrating day so far as we've been trying to find the whereabouts of Mr Fix It's prescription. We came away empty handed from his 2 surgeries ( sister surgeries) with the promise that it will be ready for tomorrow now. The surgeries have been in the news lately as it was taken over by a private company and it's gone to pot, so it is now being investigated by our government members.
Home now and nursing a coffee trying to get our blood pressure down. I've put a load in the wm with another dark wash waiting it's turn. I have some leftover pasta bolognese defrosting so that's tea sorted.
I saw Dad yesterday and I think he's had another small stroke as he was very confused, dragging his leg a lot, not able to use his left hand and slurring his speech again. He denies it of course but I don't think he realises it, he didn't even know he'd had his big one last year.
Snoozer hope everything turns out ok for you. I have everything crossed.
Izzy keep cracking that whip !
Take care all

Morning All
Cold and miserable here with a sprinkling of snow, I'm missing the sunshine of The Netherlands although it was very cold.
Sadly I've come back with gastroenteritis so am feeling sorry for myself and not straying far from the facilities! Travelling back yesterday was a bit of a challenge but DD picked me up from the airport.
Hope you get home soon Snoozer.
Well done on the job Coxy.
I like your style Izzy!
Poor Rob Ruby, hope everything is sorted out soon. You're right to stand firm with the finances.
Take care. XX10 -
