Just received an email with this add. So sign up for EE Best Price EVER in early March, and the price increases in the same month by £3.00 I get it, but many will be caught by this sleight of hand tactic.

What "sleight of hand tactic" would that be then?It tells you price increases by £3 a month and I dare say if you went through to "get my deal" it would tell you there too.0

For a start the dramatic difference in font size, the one selling the initial price in huge bold font, then in tiny print a note informing you that 25 days later prices would go by more than 10%.Neil_Jones said:What "sleight of hand tactic" would that be then?It tells you price increases by £3 a month and I dare say if you went through to "get my deal" it would tell you there too.
I think most EE contracts are at least 24 months in duration, so advertising a price that would be charged for less than one month of that before increased prices kicked in seems pretty underhand."We act as though comfort and luxury are the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about” – Albert Einstein0 -
New BT/EE contracts and renewals taken out 1 March onwards normally have no price increase that year, probable wording will change on live ads/quotes March 1st onwards.TGC2020 said:Just received an email with this add. If everyone wanted to post on here about suppliers doing this the forum would be overrun with the same info, all the info is in the email & covers it off but of course never let that get in the way of a good old moanClive_Woody said:

If EE have never sold EE Full Fibre 74 for less than £25.99 before , then what’s the problem, what’s more , if the standard EE price is £29.99 for that product, the even with the annual increase ( which puts the standard £29.99 price up by the same £3 ) it’s obviously a better deal than the standard price offer , saving £4 both before and after the 31 March increase.
If it’s not for you , that’s fine , but it’s a little ridiculous to complain about it .0
