Flight dispute

Hello,
Just after some advice please? We were about to board our flight (on the bus) and a cabin crew member came on and told us unfortunately there was a technical issue and the plane’s slide had been deployed. As a result we were sent back to the boarding gate to await further instructions. We were then told our flight was cancelled. The next available flight we were transferred to was for the next day (3 connecting flights) Anyway cut a long story short when I looked at claiming for our delay, the airline put the cancellation down to bad weather?! This was a lie, how can I prove otherwise? So frustrating!

Katie

If you share the date and flight number, there's a possibility that insiders may have access to information about delay reasons that aren't otherwise visible in the public domain.

Otherwise you can escalate your claim for adjudication by the airline's nominated ADR provider or the CAA, either of which would be preferable than taking your chances in court....
