NSGL Parking

I have today received a postal parking charge from NSGL parking. It has come from VW finance the registered owner and registered keeper of the vehicle.

I lease the vehicle and they have transferred the liability to me.

There is no location details of the alleged offence on any of the paperwork, is this a tactic by the parking company or an error?

Any advice please.

Is it addressed to YOU from NSGL  ? Or to the lease company   ?

I think that the lease company are telling you that they have named you as hirer or lessee to the parking company,  in which case wait for your NtH to arrive in the post in the near future

Nsgl are not an authority,  they are wrong there

No driving offence was committed,  just an alleged contravention,  probably being stopped on site for more than 10 minutes

Yes, addressed to lease company. They have transferred liability to me.

Why is the location of alleged contravention not shown?

So YOU have not received a pcn yet,  only VW, who have replied to NSGL with your details as hirer,  so wait for the NtH to arrive in the post with your name on it  ( liability hasn't arrived just yet  )

I haven't a clue why its not on the NTK PCN letter

It may be one appeal point, but the parking company are unlikely to comply with Pofa anyway,  in which case that will be your hirer appeal,  eventually

Study other hire or lease cases on here within the last year or so,  plus the advice at the bottom of the first post in the newbies sticky thread in announcements too,  especially the Edna Basher advice

Good heavens... Skoda Finance have referred to NSGL as an authority six times in that one letter.

    Unbelievable.

Did VW show you the back?  Please show us. That is a non-POFA worded NTK as far as we can tell but we need to read the back.

Never seen a PCN with no location on it, teehee! Laughable - when you are issued with your own version, appeal (as lessee/hirer) but also pleeeease appeal it to the IAS.  I'd love to see what their dodgy 'adjudicator' says.

'No location' is fatal to a NTK. For once this is worth appealing to both stages.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

NSGL are BPA operators, so it's going to have to be POPLA. Easy win for you @michael8626, provided you follow forum advice. Primarily the initial advice is as per @Gr1pr above - patiently await your own Notice to Hirer.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I have posted the reverse of the letter above.

Do you think the location details will be stated on my copy or are these just computer generated letters?

Your guess is as good as mine. Won't matter too much as NSGL are unlikely to produce a PoFA compliant NtH. Be patient, await their next move.

Thanks, I will have a read up of all the notes and guidance, but in a nutshell, what would make their notice to me not PoFA compliant?
