So I called the main office today who called Kensington, they said the valuation was done on the 7th and all was fine. 

Had an email from our mortgage advisor at 3 saying if all ok we can expect an offer by Monday…just had another email half hour ago to say they have produced our offer!!

Bless you, thanks for checking in. Still no mortgage offer!! They’re doing a re-review as they’re factoring in my income now. They asked the mortgage advisor yesterday if I have any personal vulnerabilities..? Which is a weird question!! She hasn’t heard from them since. Praying we hear something tomorrow otherwise it’s a really long weekend. We’ve had searches back and just waiting on 2nd lot of enquiries to be answered and then the solicitors are nearly done with their side of things 🫠 how’s everything with yours?

that is a strange question!! I seen in your earlier comment you receive Dla for your child…maybe that’s why? 


our solicitors have ordered the searches etc, we got them to hold off until we had our offer as didn’t want to lose the search fees if we didn’t get it! Pushing to complete end of may!

our solicitors have ordered the searches etc, we got them to hold off until we had our offer as didn’t want to lose the search fees if we didn’t get it! Pushing to complete end of may! 

We have received our mortgage offer today!!! Finally. So relieved. Doesn’t seem real yet though.

Yes same here - large 5 bed house, 5 children, 2 dogs and a cat… plus a man child!! We’re going to have our work cut out!! All worth it though!

Hello, how are you getting on?? We exchanged today, and complete next Wednesday, eeek!! 

Oh that’s amazing news! So pleased for you! All of our searches are back and enquiries were sent over yesterday, there aren’t too many and the sellers solicitor seems pretty on it, (they chased the estate agent to say they were literally waiting on them!)  so we are hoping it won’t take too long. We’ve told our solicitors we want to complete in may (I gave notice on my rental which takes me to the end of may although I have some wiggle room with my landlord if needed), and the seller is moving into a retirement property and has said may works well for her and the conveyancing side for that purchase is done, so we are hoping!
