Reducing BT's broadband charge

Has anyone out of contract with BT successfully reduced their broadband bill without moving their account to EE ?

Yes , although it was about a year ago , I got a £5 reduction on broadband compared to list price ( the annual increase has increased the price since ) a £2 discount on the phone PAYG phone service and although I did move my mobile to EE from BT , I still get the benefits of having BT/EE broadband, a discounted mobile rate and double data etc , but you need to realise that as the onus is to get BT customers onto EE , then any BT deal is not likely to be as good as the comparable EE deal0

Moving from BT to EE is really not a move at all, you deal with all the same people.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0
