    Of course it depends on how long you had the £20,000 in the ISA, but you should be getting at least 4% which would £800 for a year and £1,600 (and a bit more) when you've got £40,000 in the Cash ISA.

    If you want to move to a new provider you'll need to go through the "transfer" process (initiated by the new provider). Don't be tempted to withdraw the money and then pay it back to a new provider's account.
