Hi guys,
Hope you are well.
Just to give a background to this. I parked for about 5-10mins and got a parking notice through the post. Ignored it for last 6 months but last week got the claim form. I have acknowledged it by following the newbie thread, so means I have another period of time. In terms of incident they have sent me a picture of the car parked and the signs is a cardboard cut out which is difficult to see. The issue was i parked at 8am that meant i got 'fine' but there is no information i can see on the sign to suggest i should get a f'ine'. Also it is a fast food restaurant so it is fine to park at 12pm when it opens and you will not get a 'fine'.
The particulars of claim is the driver parked in breach of the terms of the parking stipulated on the signage of the contract thus incurring the parking the PCN. Claimant claims for £100 for PCN and £70 contractual costs. Overall amount is £262.05.
This is the template I have put together using the newbie thread, would appreciate any feedback before emailing it to ClaimResponses.CNBC@justice.gov.uk.
REMOVED Hope you are well.

Your thread title mentions 'template'.
Where did you find that template? It is nothing like any template I've seen on this forum. It even has a well out of date statement of truth at the foot.
What is the Issue Date on your Claim Form?
Can you please show us a picture of the Particulars of Claim - with all your personal detail hidden of course.
Have you filed an Acknowledgment of Service?
If so, upon what date did you do so?
Your MCOL Claim History will have the definitive answer to that.
Oh, and there is no 's' in the word Defence.3 -
That is a really old defence and I've no idea where you found it. Delete it please in case another new poster thinks that's how to defend.
Please answer Keith's questions and show us the POC, covering the VRM. If you don't know what to show or cover up please just read half a dozen claim threads by the same solicitor. Which solicitor firm?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Can you please show us again the Particulars of Claim from your Claim Form, but this time with more detail.
I.e. the only thing to hide is the vehicle's registration mark. With a Claim Issue Date of 5th February, and having filed an Acknowledgment of Service('AOS') in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 10th March 2025 to file a Defence.
That's over three weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence but please don't leave it to the last minute. To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look at the second post in the NEWBIES thread.Don't miss the deadline for filing a Defence.
Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an AOS has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.3 -

As they seem to have provided sparse particulars of claim (assuming there is nothing of import under your redaction) you can use the amended defence, often called the @hharry100 defence and utilise the Chan & Akande judgments - see here: -
